Oops... alloy chip

Ok, time for my shameful admission then

On Saturday I was reversing onto my own driveway and caught the rear alloy on a kerb, it was one of the transition stones that goes between a low and high kerb stone, It was only the very end before it was a low curb that I caught - oh well, worse things happen and the damage is very small.

My question is what products, (primer, filler, paint etc) would you guys reccomend? I’m not too bothered if it can be seen when closely inspected as any wheels that need paint can be refurbed when the tyres need replacing anyway (probably around 6 months). I jut don’t want it to be the eye sore it is currently.

Here’s the damage anyway:

Thanks as always for any reccomendations

I hate it when that happens! I’ve used nail varnish before now which looked a lot better than the scuffed rim.
The only downside is perusing the makeup isle trying not to look awkward

I was given a Mini touch up paint kit and the colour matched very well. Get yourself to a dealer and have a look!

As you said it’s only a tiny mark but it’s still worth a dollop of paint no matter what the colour mismatch is!

I’d try silver touch up then flatten back and polish.

Did I see you Saturday near bishop roundabout heading towards Horam?

My dad bought a cheap wheel refurb kit from Amazon to touch up some minor marks on my brother's wheels before selling the car to webuyanycar

He said it was pretty simple to do and the buyer didn't mark him down anything for the wheels, so it did a decent enough job

Thanks all - I’m about to order a wheel chip pen, I’ll sand the little splinters out first and give it a rub back afterwards.

Luckily my OH is a beauty therapist so I could’ve avoied the awkward shop! I’ve used nail varnish on bike frames with good results, It’s just the heat that concerns me a little.

That was me, I only just saw you go by. The Imola leather looks great in the sun. There was a rather nice convertible E30 a few cars behind you too, wondered if it might have caught up.
