After much discussion I wanted to start a new topic in order to get a few number together to this Cruise / Meet!!!

Can people please use the Poll to select what they prefer, also, can we please have a list of names of attendees and where they are coming from so we are able to arrange a few meeting points, and possibly a few stop off points and a destination with a big car park for some food and drinks?!

Any suggestions would be apperciated!

As for a final stop off there is a pub with a big car park, nice food just off the M1 Jct35a, called Meadow Farm...This is about 5mins from the woodhead so is easily accessible for after the cruise!

For the Sheffield lot, we can either meet in Hillsbrough to jump on the Snake, or at Meadowhall / Near the M1 so we can get on the Woodhead, depending which way round we are going, etc...

I'll start the list off here...

12th or 26th April is best for me.

I'll get back to you with some ideas. I find it better if everyone starts from one place, having multiple meeting points makes it much more difficult for you to co-ordinate (trust me on this, I've run a few of these! )

Yeah thats a valid point, problem is people live in different areas...

Also, I was meaning a different meet point to get to the main meet, eg. sheffield, liverpool, leeds...but all meet about for example 11am at McDonolds Car Park somewhere...

11am?

7am will be better if you want to stretch the legs of the car a little :D

7am on a Sunday morning i do not think so!!! 11am is bad enough

Only way to have a half decent run around without too much traffic making the run out a nice BMW Z4 procession at 40mph, is to get up early...

Could have a run out early for 2 hrs, finish at the meet up at 10-11am ish, then have a cruise to a good place for some dinner...

To be honest, driving around in the middle of the day on Sunday sat in traffic at 40mph isn't really that fun :? ... so if it was later I'd just do the meet up for some chinwagging/photos and meeting people and so on, then probably head off for some lunch :)

Agree with Mr Whippy. If you want to do some fun driving then the earlier the better really.

Anyway I'm up for it, 12th of April should be good as it will hopefully be a bit warmer.

3) Warren - Sheffield

I'm ok for early, I think its just the ladies that might have something to say about it LOL!

Make it their problem, not yours. You'll have enough to be getting on with!

I'd have to get up at bloody 6am!! I don't usually rise until at least 1pm on a Sunday due to usually getting in around 3/4am a little drunk

Could we do 8 or 9am :D I'd still find it a struggle but i think i could cope, you may just have to wake me up if i'm asleep in my dinner :P

Would suggest we avoid Easter which is the weekend of the 12th April I think. Could be very busy then. I'm happy to fit in with the majority, don't mind an early start as that's when we stand the best chance of some clear roads.

You could always join us on lap 2 of the Oopnürthring, might be a good thing as we'll be going a bit slower due to traffic :P

Like I said, we could do an early run out for those who want a good run out and stretch their cars legs, then meet up for pics and chinwagging etc at 10am ish, then do a more sedate run (forced by traffic), and stop somewhere good for lunch...

Best to stay in bed and recoup + beauty sleep if you are up late drinking... last thing you want is to be stopped by plod and still be over :o

The 12th of April is the Specialist cars of Malton meet with piston heads other dates would be beter.

I guess i could come home a little earlier than usual to get more sleep, maybe 1am

Well i'm gonna do whatever the Sheffield lot do as i'll want to meet up with them in Sheffield first and then go to meet everyone else. If i have to get up at 6am then so be it :( I'll just have Tesco bags under my eyes and fall asleep in my dinner :D

Well it's looking like 26th at the min, that is perfect for me

Well I've changed my vote to the 19th as it seems that the 12th is not a good weekend. I'm off to America on the 22nd so wouldn't be able to make the 26th :(

I'd be up for this. Sheffield's only an hour from home. I won't vote as none of the dates are strategic to my calendar at the moment, but once you settle on one I'll see if I can join.
