Ooops

Decided to remodel the rear bumper by reversing it into a bollard. image.jpeg

Haven't gone to get repair / replacement quotes yet but anyone know if this is likely a replacement bumper job and any idea of cost?

Any recommendations in the Cheshire area for repair welcome!

All is not lost, that can be repaired and I would suggest sub £1k

£1000? No way, full respray on a bumper by a decent place, never more than £200

This , and if you're not in a rush wait for a black bumper to come up for sale

 £200 sure at Nige's back street rattle can spray shop it will be £200 cash but not a proper job.

A removed bumper full respray is £300-400 alone! That has some scuffs and a gouge out of it as I say under £1k probably about £600

I've had my bumpers resprayed twice at BMW and they charged me £300 inclusive. So a decent Indy will do it for £200 - I get mine done often enough after stone chips etc

Silly boy. Don'y tell em your name pike. :telloff:

Hope you get it sorted quick. Never feels quite as bad when you feck it up yourself.

Are you deaf then? or aren't your rear parking aids working, it must have picked the bollard up as you hit it in line with the sensor  .

I'd agree with Stark... you should be able to get a decent repair on this for circa £200.00. Unless you are really OCD but even then the whole bumper wont be exactly the same colour as the original.

Turn a nightmare into an upgrade, there's a
Mint z4m black rear bumper on eBay at the minute for £200 or best offer ?

EDIT

I think that had more to do with it. Head not quite in the real world I would guess. Maybe keep an eye/ear on the sensors to ensure they are working properly when your maybe not so distracted.

Better you doing it than your fiancé, would have been a shame to have to call the whole thing off
