:rofl: Huge feck-up by Swisswax... everyone knows that the majority of stuff is rebranded but they've just compounded their error by threatening legal action...

I would guess its common practice to relabel products in many businesses but its not nice to find out you've been taken to the cleaners :(
s**t customer service has just compounded the problem !
 
An interesting read... I'd love so see the sales trend for the colourfast people.... Bet they have a spike in sales... I for one am tempted to get some of their leather cleaner.. Cheaper than autoglym!!!
 
This sort of stuff goes on all the time. People paying huge premiums for Audis when they're actually just driving cheaper Skoda/Seat/VW's with a swanky interior in most (not all) cases.
 
I think the difference here though is like buying a swanky audi and a skoda turning up on the drive!!
 
The legal thread response seems to have been removed from the thread. No doubt this will do wonders for their sales ....
 
It's been going on for donkey's years. I pick and choose my products very carefully with this reason in mind. Most of the AutoFinesse products appear to be very similar to other brands too, but still have a niche with Citrus Power (best wax safe, pre-wash spray out there by far).
 
Citrus power isn't the best but get what you are saying, rebranding has been going on forever. Swissvax are a wax manufacter its not at all suprising they use use third parties for some of their other products :)

From my back to back testing I found it to be the most effective, whilst remaining wax safe - but always open to better products buddy! What do you feel is up there?

Couldn't give a toss about allegiances to brands buddy. If it works, it works.
