Good effort :) I,m no pro detailer by any mean,s but when it comes to beading , , the tighter the globules of water the better the finish

where did you hear that???

waxs/sealants etc all have different types of beads, nothing to do with the finish.

my case in point... one of the many tests I've done, 4 LSP (2 waxes, 2 sealants) all on the same bonnet, finished and prepped the same way...

now, they range from £3 right up to over £8,000.... anyone want to guess what's what??? lol

You think what you like mate , , ive seen plenty of cars that don,t see wax & they see no beading , & ive seen plenty with quality wax on with supertight beading so i,l stick with my own thoughts whether right or wrong , i can,t help it ,i,m an Aquarian 8)

Here have a read , you might learn something , ,

I bought mine from a forum member on here, but you can get it online. its not cheap, but its the best thing I've ever used and months later its still beading like a drag queen. They do it on spray on form now too, which is cheaper and easier to apply apparently.

This looks pretty good and value for money.

Have a read over this thread - it compares two products auto finesse desire and AG HD wax over a period of 6+ months

(I had my car detailed and finished in desire about 5 weeks ago and the dirt and water is still not sticking)

i want my car to bead like a drag queen

my thoughts on beading - isn't it all to do with surface tension, so less contact area a blob of water has on your car, the less "grip" it has on your car? So this is not just a factor of wax, but rather the overall finish (combination of clay, polish, seal and wax) on your paintwork, making it as smooth as possible? Happy to be educated if I'm totally wrong on this....

Whereas for the fabric, after reading all the threads on roof treatment I've surmised its all down to the layers of tar coat you've applied ;)
