Only One With Adjustable Exhaust?

Well last year i had a new CAT Back system fitted, it was very aggressive and extremely loud and the drone was insane! but i did love they way it popped and banged lol.

after a few weeks i got in touch with the company who fitted the system due to the drone and they advised that they had been developing a system for turbo cars. a valve is placed on one of the tail pipe and is operated by the vacuum of the turbo to open the valve at high load. this give you a nice quiet car normally and loud when you give it some beans!

although i don't have a turbo they advised i could have the same system and so it was installed!

Nice and quiet round town but a nice tone as well.

The system works by running a vacuum pipe from the engine bay to the valve on the exhaust, thus keeping the valve closed = no pops and bangs and no horrible drone!!




however after some thought i decided to fit a small air control valve to the pipe, thus enabling me to decide if i want the valve completly open = animal or closed = drive to work on Monday!

Now that does sound very nice, pleased you have it sorted and are happy with the results

This is exactly what iv got on mine.
I also had a droney aftermarket exhaust fitted for 12month.
Then went for a Quad exhaust last year from EMP in StAlbans. The valve works on back pressure, normal steady driving produces a not to loud but sporty exhaust note that pops and splutters a bit with throttle lift-off, but give it some beans and it gets all over excited and loud.

haha thanks for the commts guys, i know some of the videos are a bit rubbish, im loving the fact i can turn the valve off all together and have it sound like a beat when i want, but on monday i can turn the valve in the engine bay and have a make it nice and comfortable!
