only if its cold

Guys i have notice if its been a bit cooler over night, when i turn (right) out of my drive i feel a clunk through the steering wheel area. Only ever does it the once and the colder it is the more emphasised is the clunk. Any ideas on what it could be or is it jyst a feature?

Had a similar problem. Might be the solution ur looking for. Have a look at the heat shield where the steering column goes through after the fire wall. Mine had slightly moved and made a bit more noise when cold. Realigned it and no more noise. Hope this is what it is for you and this solves it. All the best mate.
