Well, Eastern Motor Company are a kosher BMW dealer, but can't claim any knowledge of Eastern M Power being an ///M specialist, and there's nothing on their official dealer page which claims anything like this.
 
When they say "only one in the country" do they mean Scotland or the UK? It all sounds a bit "self-certified" if you know what I mean, this title isn't BMW appointed, is it?

Are they going to end up the northern equivilents of those jokers down south that sell old M cars 30% higher than everywhere else in the country. :roll:
 
It could just be down to the fact they have a Master Tech. When I used to work for BMW (some years ago admittedly) it was only master techs that could work unsupervised on M product.

Either that or BMW have come up with a way of getting more money from the dealer network... i.e. pay us £100k and you can call yourselves M specialists

Plenty of dealerships with Master Technicians around (you only have to ask), and some have left to set up their own businesses - although the few I tried didn't know how to do certain ///M specific tasks, so I stayed away.
