Only 7 ///MC's on Pistonheads

One of my daily routines involves periodically checking PH to see whether any new ///MC's have been listed.

Normally the figure hovers around 15-20, but today there is only 7 cars for sale on there....will there be any left by the summer :(

I certainly don't want this new found ultra exclusive rarity to push prices up

There are not Ferrari Enzo's for sale than ///MC's!

In 2 1/2 years I've never seen more than 20 of either for sale at the same time, that's one of the reasons I didn't buy a Boxster S, page after page of those, I know we have a smaller market but if you have a good one the prospective buyer only has a few to decide over not hundreds !

I was shocked when I checked on the AUC site this morning & there were only 2 M Roadsters for sale, it's nice to see how rare M's are. :)

I would have one back in a heart beat ... if we did not need 4 seats , really do think there a wonderful car for the cash

There is very little that can compare for 15k

There's quite a few coming onto Autotrader now. Not that I am looking :D

I'll probably be putting mine up for sale in a couple of months. Not trying to tease or be mysterious, just letting you guys have advance notice, I'll advertise on here first anyway. See my post in detailing for info and pics. Mrs IKZ4 is expanding around her middle, swelling likely to reduce massively when junior arrives in August. 3rd car is a luxury too far (apparently).

I've been looking for the detailing link IKZ4 but can't see it, I did however do a search and found your original thread when you got your ///MC, looks great 8)

Ps Congratulations on to you and Mrs IKZ4 on the expanding waistline

Thanks Darren. Sorry for thread hijack. Pics of my car, probably selling in May.

That's a real nice Z4MC IKZ4.

It's pleasing to see fewer of these cars for sale as an owner. You get an awful lot of car for your money and there must be less than half of the original 580-odd with less than 50k miles on now.

I've been hanging my nose over the PY ///MC on AT, just showed swmbo a picture of one with CSL's on to test the water, she said it looks like baby poo :-)

Darren I think that PY with CSL's looks gorgeous.

The only thing putting me off about PY, is that whilst it is incredibly rare, many people don't seem to like the colour, selling on could be a right a**e.

Sepang Bronze, Midnight Blue and Alpine White are pretty rare also, but the general consensus seems to be that people love those colours.

22 roadsters up on PH atm, common as :poke:

Actually, it wasn't that long ago that people didn't like Sepang Bronze all that much...

Phoenix Yellow needs to be seriously cheap to sell. If the seller dropped it to £13,000, it would sell quite quickly I'd wager.

That's interesting, what was the turning point for Sepang?

Possibly when people who'd only ever seen it in photo's saw it in the flesh.

The camera does not do it justice.

Rubbish

PY has a smaller following yet buyers who want PY are more than happy to wait for the right one. I would have certainly purchased a PY MC only 7 UK wide, apart from the Imola came up... I have see PY on Zed coupes a number of times and it looks sensational

Everyone talks about Sepang Bronze... looks like "jewish gold" to me.... different strokes for different folk.
