One way of dealing with poor dealers

Lady had a problem with her car. She felt she a had a warranty claim but the dealer wasn't interested.

Eventually she stopped arguing with them and put a sign in the back window for her car which read:

"I bought this car from XYZ dealers in ABC town
and I am very dissatisfied with them"

Very clear and simple; nothing libelous or overly aggressive.

The car was normally parked in town on a regular basis.

Within a few days, the car dealership contacted the lady and offered to resolve the issue at their own expense.

A few days after the car was repaired, the story made it onto local TV as an example of consumers fighting back.

Some of us who bought the earlier production model, had problems with the "shadow" mark left when removing the "Airbag" sticker. My dealer was being a butt about replacing the dash, so I made my own sticker to cover it up. On my next visit they replaced it. A few months later, BMW came out the SB to change it under warranty.
