One touch triple signal?

Can you help?

One touch triple signal. In the handbook said has to be
set by the dealer but my dealer has told me that i do not
Have the right indicator stork fitted to do this.
Is this right or is the dealer just palming me off :x

What year is your Z4? One touch triple signal is programmable only for post '06. Indicator stork is all the same.

My z is a 07 so looks like a palm off :x
 
I have an '07 Z4 coupe and was told the triple signal was European only! (I'm in NC) bah, humbug!

Someone is feeding you a bunch of hooey. The triple signal can be programmed on the US cars just as easily. Just ask your dealer to do it when you go in for scheduled maintenance. It's a 30 second job.

Will do, thanks! I had them program the daytime running lights (just the angel eyes????) and they claimed it took all day (but the sales department had to pay as they didn't do it before I picked the car up).
 
Been to the dealer twice they still say it can’t be done :x
Said about the answers on the forum now they tell me
it only possible on US cars not UK........umm :shifty:
 
Mine's an '06 and I got triple turns programmed in by the dealer. He also programmed in other things, such as indicator flashing when locking car, de-activated auto door locking when moving above 6mph plus others.

IMHO its a palm off by your dealer. Ask your local dealer for a print off of what can be key programmed to your car - they can download a model specific sheet for you.

Any other dealers near you who might be more helpful?

So, what's the normal rate the dealer charges for these re-programming services?

This guy let me plug up his AutoLogic in trade for some tattoo work. I can now control the top with my remote and the passenger window auto-close... among a couple other little things. He also said I could get re-map done....

Initially thought this might be a nice little trade-off, but now... just wondering about the value of such services....

btw, mine's a 5/03 2.5i.....
 
Quick flick of the indicator stalk give three flashes of the indicator for the relevant direction. Designed for motorway lane changes.

Personally I dont think 3 flashes is enough...
 
Yeah but if you change lanes fast (yeah I know, shouldn't do it on motorway) three is more than enough.
