Road Tax was abolished in 1937. You're paying Vehicle Excise Duty and that's the price, unfortunately, for having a Z4M. :wink:

Have you closed the door of a Citroen C4 recently? PANNGG!!!! I think the Z4 is ok in this respect, but I've come from the lower end of the market upwards, which I'm sure makes a big difference. The glove box latch is straight out of a 80s Vauxhall Astra though.

Only had mine a short while, so it's a toss up between the left rear RFT, the right rear, the front left and the front right.
 
I don't hate anything about my z. Apart from possibly the lack of base... But easily sorted! Love everything about it! Auto windscreen wipers I have no problem with either although the ones in my E90 were much better
 
I dont HATE anything...
But the ride is sometimes slightly too firm, the exhaust could sound a bit more rorty, and i always thought the ///m had massaging brake pads that dry off the brakes when in rain...last monday they wernt dry when i braked for a roundabout i was travelling too quickly for :lol:
 
Every time I push the button to put the roof up, there's a momentary pause before anything happens. Every single time, my heart skips a beat and I think "Oh crap, the freakin' motor has failed." Just then, the motor kicks in and everything works fine. Every time! You'd think I'd learn to relax. :headbang:
 
I hate that the ODO racks up so many km's a year... it's just too much fun to drive :-)

On a more serious note, it rattles and the doors sound tinny. The E89 is very nice, but less fun to drive. Still, the cheap build quality feel of the E85 is pushing me a bit towards an E89. But then again, I'd hate not being able to leave my golf bag in the boot like in the E85 :-)

The brakes feature works with the auto wipers function IIRC - not just an ///M feature. I thought when auto wipers are activated (which you have to do every time you start the car :roll: ), it does the brake drying thing when it senses rain :?

I have the same thought every time I open and close my roof.
 
The only irritation I've had with mine is the odd dipping tickover usually sitting at lights and usually ending with a stall.
Guaranteed it would happen if you're front and you've got some dick wanting to race beside you.
Luckily mine stopped after I reset the mil light and gas pedal - touches some wood... :D
 
As I have the SE the one thing I hated was the steering wheel, now changed. I wasn't keen on the Alu dash, now covered. So now it's pretty much perfect :)
