one thing you hate about your z4

The fact that on 2 tanks of fuel now, i have been getting an average of 22 mpg.

Worrying constantly about where i have parked it and if it will get scratched. Worrying if every some bump has just snapped the springs on the rock hard suspension. dreading my insurance renewal quote.

stupid sodding car...

The only thing I can think of is the door windows, but I can't say it's really a hate thing.
When it's freezing and you go to open the door the glass doesn't shift down that little bit so you struggle to open the door whilst hoping the glass won't shatter.
Ditto once you are in and trying to close it again.

You need something called gummi pflege for the rubber to stop it sticking. I don't use it as my car is garaged, but others on here say it's excellent

+1. Its a stick applicator thingy that you apply to all rubber seals. Get it on eBay. Used it on all my roadsters to help keep the rubber in tip top condition.

theres nothing I hate about my car apart from the price of Road Tax, thats not the cars fault its the Goverments!!!

+1 Daz - to ride on roads littered with un-repaired potholes and badly patched electricity/gas/water board trenches.

It beeping when the temperature drops below to near freezing I always think its a serious warning light coming on.

I only discovered this recently..on motorway on a long drive. Had a bit of a panic

Nothing I hate as such, but I frequently worry I'm going to leave the front splitter on a speed hump or kerb. I always park backwards, but reversing around town seems frowned upon

Road Tax was abolished in 1937. You're paying Vehicle Excise Duty and that's the price, unfortunately, for having a Z4M.

I hate the fact that i have to really give it the beans just to barely out pace a bloody golf gti hatch back that has a family of 4 in it.

The stupidly pointless so-called "Sport" button on the ///M. A triumph of marketing over engineering.

Absolutely this!

Surely your performance car should offer the most complete experience out of the box, traction control & sport button are both pointless IMHO

I don't mind this every once in a while. I forget it is there most of the time tbh. Its a nice feeling though. I get bored with it soon enough and it goes off.

Oops! Seems I've listed three things I don't like about my zed, i haven't grasped the title of the thread very well have I?
