One shot windows

For some reason BMW decided to give a one-shot up facility to the drivers side only (my E36 had it on both front windows). Is this something that can be enabled with coding or is it down to the switch? Obviously I'd like one-shot up & down for both windows.

Both my cars had one shot windows both sides. One pre facelift and one facelift. I'd guess this is a coding thing or a faulty switch. You should be able to feel a dual action on the switches as your raise them...

Perhaps a window reset might get the other working??

This is a coding thing - either window can be set to active or not.
