One remote not working.

Since a flat battery one of my remote keys won't work as remote. I've tried taking it a longish run and leaving by my toothbrush charger as well as the 'turn to pos 1 five3 times' thing but still no joy. the other remote works fine.

So I think I need a replacement fob, what's the best way to go about this - ebay, walk into a BMW dealer or something else? :)

I had the same problem when one of mine went flat.... Re programmed it myself, but you have to do both keys:

The other key would stop working if you set the reprogramme correctly.

A dealer will charge over £175 for a new key! And need the logbook and ID.

Fixed at the dealer for free!! Similar process to the one listed above but I couldn't get that to work.

So then I asked for an Inspection 2 quote - £799.00 all in.
