Am on my way to Singapore but has been a bit of a challenge so far hence stuck in Hong Kong for a bit.

Just about to take off from heathrow and we had to turn around due to a drunk passenger. That little episode costed about a hundred people their connecting flights. Once te person was off loaded, the push truck broke down whilst attached to the plane. Never seen that before. That caused more delay and more people missing connections.

So now in Hong Kong trying to get a flight to Singapore. Great ...

Atleast you've got an Internet connection! Always a bright side  although I do hope that was the last of your bad luck.

Lounge is fine and people are a lot more friendly than the heathrow lot :)

Honk Kong airport is lovely... I wonder though, do you wish you'd gotten the direct flight now :? :D

6k ? I thought it was less than that from your posts - like half.

That's rubbish luck. Just relax have a drink something nice to eat. And remember it could be a bloody lot worse. Breath in , out all the way in in all the way out. Now that's better have a safe onward journy

The direct ones from ba are 6k. The other ones have a stop somewhere. I just picked the wrong stop ....

They should have tied the drunken sh1t to their seat and carried on with the flight.
People who do that really annoy me.

Hope your epic journey goes quick.

Oh, ok. I thought the Singapore Airlines one was about £3k. Hope you are now there safe and sound

Got there ok in the end, just a killer being in the office at 8 am local time :D

That's tough PVR. Did the Heathrow to Sydney run a few times in 2012 and these long hauls beat you up when you get there and then have to do a days work. Delays just compound it.

Currently sat in B'ham for the ultra short Dublin flight. Shame I have to do the same run for the next 20 weeks :(

By the time you're done CJ, there'll be a nice shiny new All Bar One open near your departure gate for the Dublin flight, with it's own self-contained coffee shop :)

just walked past this:

My room is on the 31st floor, not bad as long as you don't have fear of heights:

I have always thought those buildings to be pretty special.
I want to spend a a day in Singapore.

mild envy here

Just don't order the Crispy Duck........that's exactly what I got, inc head, legs, tail, etc, nothing like what Mr Chan at the Speedy Wok around the corner from me serves up!
