One more you might not know of... back-up side light

when you side light bulb blows the indicator steps up to replace it, as seen here 8)

A that explains a RED Z4; driven by a lady which i have seen on numerous occasions on the A38 in the evenings which has both the indicators permanently lit up (i thought it may have neen a prefacelift DRL option) .. either she prefers the look of them.. or more likely the light's have popped and she doesnt know what the symbol on the dash means!
