ONE MORE SLEEP!!!!

Not long now until I'm officially sitting behind the wheel of new motor! Up at 7am sharp and then a 3 hour journey up North to collect the car from Mr Wilkes! I've packed the bag with the usual essentials in the form of a flask of tea, camera and road map. Also taking some tin snips and bolt cutters just in case I have to prize the former owner away from a car that's obviously been cherished in the forum for the past few years. Looking forward to the journey back and weather permitting I'll take the route down to Buxton through the peaks and then the 515 to Lichfield down back into Brum. Roof down and heated seats on I'll be like a pig in the proverbial. Camera will be at the ready and photos posted on the forum when I'm back online!

Last time I was this excited was 1977 when the folks got me a second hand Raleigh Chopper for Christmas!!! :D

It will be the longest sleep of your life!
I was in same situation few months back collecting my Z4 - had to stop on way back from collection to take pic with roof down.
Good luck and enjoy :D

Loving the enthusiasm. It's a great feeling

Have a great day as I am sure you will and looking forward to the pics :D

Brilliant post. I'm sure you're going to have loads of fun and pictures will be much appreciated. Have fun tomorrow!!

Enjoy tomorrow. :D Much better than a Raleigh Chopper.

Try not to smile too much until your around the corner out of sight from Mr Wilks.

Bugger , was hoping you'd forgot

You are starting to sound a bit like PVR there!

Glad it's off to a good home and still on the forum. Can't wait to see what you buy next.

You lucky thing. I got a second hand Raleigh Tomahawk! When I picked Zeddie up from Derby, I still remember this feeling very well and went through Buxton and up to the Rossendale valleys, just south from Mr Wilks! With the roof down in December - it was a sunny but cold day! :D Great memories, good luck with your drive, take it easy, I am sure you will enjoy and soak it up!
