One more sleep before Z number 2!

Yes fairly easy. If you decide to do it, feel free to PM me and I'll dig out the how-to guide I found on another forum.

When did the 35iS have the white plastic repeaters, please? Or were they always a default?

How hard were the kidney grilles to remove? i have read it can be a bit fiddly, what method did you use?
Thanks!

It was a lot easier and quicker than I expected. There's a decent video on YouTube (albeit in German) that shows a guy removing the grilles that I followed. Secret is knowing where the clips are located and gently pushing them up with the tip of your finger. When you remove the plastic housing you can slide your arm down beneath the radiator and grille if it's slim enough. If you've got arms like Popeyes you may struggle.

Did you purchase the black ones directly from BMW? There's plenty of chrome ones online but haven't found a black version yet?

Nope - I got lucky by purchasing a set already prepped for painting on eBay for £50. I had my local paint shop spray them gloss black & bake etc.

Search the forum and you will see other members have bought from http://www.tj-e.de/product_info.php?info=p24_bmw-z4-e89-led-seitenblinker-lci-umruestsatz-schwarz-glanz-lackierung.html
