One month in - a few photos

Looks good!

Not really a fan of the csl's given they seem a little on the common side.

Your thoughts on the black leather over the cream with your paint colour is interesting, but it's growing on me!

Any other plans for the future with the car?

Is that carbon coming off the drivers side?

Yeah it's definitely on the to-do list, but at £135 for that one tiny piece from the dealer I'm going to try and wait for a used one to turn up on eBay, or wait until nothing else more important is needed.

There's still a few interior jobs, I need to fix the stereo aerial (part on the way), replace the beige parcel shelf with a black one, and also try and find some coupe specific rear trim pieces, but I'm not in a rush to do those. I think my next job will be sorting out the wishbone bushes.

Looks fantastic. The hard work has all paid off. I've just sat and read your posts about the interior and the things you've changed.

A great colour combination and looks very smart now.

Great work Edd , , it does look very well mate & good call going back to MV2,s , ,
Only when i looked back at original pics of my ZC did i realise how well the car suited them

Hey edd. How much did a set of MV2's and nearly new tyres cost you if you don't mind me asking?

They were £400 from eBay. Not mint but very good, virtually no kerbing.

Fair price i,d say , , i just sold a gen set freshly powdercoated for £500 but did think about selling as they were for around £375 ,

I would have had yours if I hadn't already bought mine, they looked great :) Oddly the outsides of mine are near mint but the insides could do with a refurb!

Yeah I sold them to a chap on eBay who turned out to be a member here. Looking forward to seeing them looking a bit less sorry!

I am glad. I was very very tempted to get into financial hot water with the wife for them. As I have 2sets of the standard seats I could understand her saying I was wasting my money!!

Another quick update today - I've fitted standard chrome/black kidney grilles. I didn't mind the black ones, but I like to keep things OEM. I know that the 3.0 cars originally came with chrome/silver ones but I'm not a fan of them, they stand out too much on a dark car and I don't want to go the whole hog and get chrome wheel arches  So here's before and after pics:

Looking good, the chrome of the grille pulls in the chrome from the BM roundel - nice work!!
