Can we not ban him from here?

That is truly disgusting behaviour.

Of course and we will, but Alan has asked him for an explanation so we can wait for that (not that he will ever return to post again)
Remember even if banned he can sign up again in 10 minutes under a new user name.

Ah yes very true, hadn't thought that all the way through!

Not telling you how to run this place by the way

Just re reported this on ebay as they didn't get in touch with me last time, if we all do this, ebay must take notice and make him show it's been seriously damaged.

Now we all know it was written off but if you check the first listing i.e. The one after it had been hit it states

This listing is for a Damaged Repaired , possibly Category D but currently not recorded ( purchased through independent engineer )

Could it still be the case that it's not been recorded properly? If so, surely the insurance company have some responsibility in that?

Not saying what the guy has done is right but if it genuinely isn't recorded then it's more of a moral thing. And well he can BS for Wales it would seem.

It's a pity you can't see if it was recorded or not, well not without paying for it.

HPI check tells you that. Currently not recorded. Wonder if there could be a delay?

Or maybe it's gone under the radar and won't be reported as a cat D/C, only time will tell if some poor sap turns up here with their new shiny car.

And what if you were buying it today, and it is showing HPI clear? Not nice to then come here and find out it was a total loss.

Its the same car. it's also on ebay. No pics yet but the registration date is listed and it's the same!

Poor sod who ends up buying this "prestige" car ...

Something is wrong when a car gets written off and is then not recorded  . Technically he is doing nothing wrong, but it just doesn't seem right.

Compared to Lucy's car which was repaired under insurance the damage wasn't anywhere near so I guess it's just down to the age/value now

Wouldn't want to be the person who buys it though as it will have some stigma attached to it.

The 'M' world is too small for it not to raise it's head somewhere down the line. After all, there are only 10 of them :)

it'll be back on here soon.... as PVR see... the community is too small for it not too... just a matter of time.
