My son has just listed his Mk4 Golf R32 for sale , he has his eye on climbing the VAG ladder to either a S5 or Scirocco R
For a 12 yr old vehicle this car doesn't half drive well :driving:

Cheers , first viewing last night but was a dreamer who hadn't sold his own car
Another guy coming Saturday & another lined up for Sunday , rare cars & especially so in tiptop order

Chip of the old block, he only just got it

My son is in love with the Golf R, getting all sort of quotes now. Just need to sell a few more of our products

R32 sold & Scirocco R secured , ive lost the exact count but he's around 7/8 cars since passing his test & he's only 23
50k manual , private sale with Milltek installed

Was it easy to sell the R32?

Out of interest, what is insurance like for him on that?

Lots of interest via PM & txt
He had 2 viewings at weekend , 1 didn't have the funds & the other was looking for a "original" example with no mods :? so why he wasted his traveltime & my sons time when the advert clearly states what mods have been done ive no idea  he then made a lowball offer to factor in returning to standard  yeah nice try :P
The new buyer knows the car via the R32 Oc forum but had to wait until he'd sold his own car which went yesterday
Very strong market for both Anniversary & R32 Mk4's , to the point my son knows it will be virtually impossible for him to get back in the same calibre car for what he's just sold at
Insurance with 3 yrs NCD FC was around £680 , the Scirocco R is up about £70 on that but then the value is almost 3x the R32

Done well with that one, insurance not bad indeed either. Lovely cars.

My son is looking at a new Golf R at the moment, but is about 32k short for it

Was a 3 horse race for him initially between Golf R / Scirocco R or a S5
The Rocco did it for him after testdrives so he's happy , see far too many of the Golf Rs on the morning run into Manchester , the crazy lease deals flooded the market which down the line will probably hit residuals
The rocco Rs are a rarer beast so should stay firm ? He hopes
