Fantastic!! I know loads of peeps on here love to hate them, but I've long been a Fast Ford fan, drove the first Focus RS long while back & it's an awesome piece of kit!! :D

went for a 500 in white with the Own A Ford scheme but they had all gone, ended up with a RS Turbo was pretty good fun to drive

Always loved the RS200, but the whale fin cosworths look ridiculous

Thought I'd opened the Barryboy's site, until I realised they actually did this in the factory, looks like they smeared glue on them and ram raided a fibreglass factory.

I am a big ford fan :D even though I've moved onto German machinery now, I have seen that collection before it is mouth watering if fords are your thing...I have owned seven fords in my time RS & XR models & I had lots of fun in them :driving:

A few years ago I owned a 2.9 RS Scorpio. It was factory produced with a full body kit and fitted with twin turbo technics. Although it was auto it was awsome. Pushed it would drink fuel, 5mpg. It was insured as a standard 2.9 as it was factory produced and not listed on the insurance companies lists, they agreed to this. I only bought it when my ex bent my 2.0 ghia. Both have long gone now, I am a lot happier also :D

I've never really been a big fast ford fan but as a general petrol head that collection is impressive, well done to him.

I think that there's some really special ones there, I never owned a fast Ford but 3 of my mates had RS2000's which were great cars, my wife's cousin married Matt Clarke, son of Roger, and they had loads of special Escorts in their workshops :driving:

I'm with SARS on the RS200. In an idle moment I looked up what it would cost to buy one :o

A friend is in the RS club and has a mint Sierra Sapphire Cosworth, tuned to stage something or other. My eldest son went all gooey over it. Must be the Essex genes in him :D

I dont know whether I am a fan of fast fords, but all I know they are pretty fast, and easy to drive (modern ones) - the 350bhp focus RS goes like stink, nevertheless its a FWD.

And the collection posted here is pretty impressive!

Theres one for sale not far away from me if you're interested, it could be better than money in the bank if kept for a few years...

I worked on the RS500 sierras back in the 80s for Aston Martin Ticford, those sierras came direct from Ford in Belgium, they were, every last one of them an engine swap plus various other minor mods, all 500 of them. Homologation edition so Ford could go racing with that car. An interesting side note to this car was when they wre transported out of the factory the transporter driver would drive them onto the transporter to the top level and all they could see was the sky so they would ride the car up with the door open to guide them to the correct position on the trailer, the result was sometimes an exploding clutch plate, those cars were then brought back to the workshop for a clutch change, all overtime for me and my work mates, nice little earner that was. Also when the RS200 was banned from rallying they were converted to road spec for sale to the general public, cant remember what they were going for but well out of reach. They were converted believe it or not by Reliant in shenstone, some specials were converted by Tickford at their Bedworth and Milton keynes sites, one of them was for George Harrison, of the Beatles, it was all black, looked real mean that one did. Remember going out in a full blown works RS200 with my old boss Brian Tennant, a very talented Aston Martin works trained driver, i can tell you it was the fastest car i have ever been in ever. Happy days :D

I always had as thing for a white rs1600 my mates mother had, still would have one now! and just how shiny is princess Di's car - wow!
