With out any hesitation this would have to be it Lamborghini Aventador SV I know it would shake my teeth out but I love the sound and look of this car my dream car with out doubt.
Matt.

Gorgeous things spotted one near hear last weekend. It made the California in front of it, look like an Mx5. 8)

Vulcan and SV are great cars, but just no good at the GT job, which i think would be essential in any car4life.

Vulcan is probably my 'if i could have any car' answer, but if it's 'one car only', its not street legal (yes ONE exists), nor really usable, so cant really be the only car.

You want theatre, speed, usable comfort levels, some luggage space (weekend bag would do), performance, handling, sense of occasion. etcetc.

Gotta be good for a sunday morning blat, and just as exciting a prospect for a run to the Alps, needs to be able to take you to a fancy restaurant and be able to spark conversation in a petrol station (not draw hatred!).

I've always had a soft spot for one of these. Plenty of other motors to choose from, but there's just something about the SLS AMG that does it for me.

I've always had a soft spot for the viper, even with its many flaws  but I would get one in a heartbeat if I could.

Not what I’d chose personally with unlimited money but it has to be said the new Ferrari Portafino ticks quite a few boxes! Coupe, convertible, 4 seats, V8....

Such an improvement over the old California!

If Nick Mason is reading this, if you're bored with yours I'll buy it. John e-89 has promised me unlimited funds! :P

Probably teaching granny to suck eggs Rick but just in case, a couple of years ago Mr Mason turned down an offer of £35million for his 250! You’ve got some kenk when you can turn that down...!!!!

Apparently he takes the original engine out to race it, puts a race Ferrari engine in, then puts the original lump back in after the weekend for show purposes, no matter how long it is between outings. He’s fairly dedicated to the cause....

I have a great book called "Into the Red", co-written by Nick Mason and Mark Hayles. It is a review of testing a large selection of Mason's car collection on the track. Mason writes about why he bought the car, what he likes/dislikes etc. and Hayles writes about what they were like to drive "into the red".

Mason initially used his 250 GTO for the school run and was surprised when someone told him that it would be worth £5 million.

That was a few years' ago - turned out to be a good investment!

Ok potholes, speed bumps and ants crossing the road may be an issue, but in my perfect world where i own one of these, the roads are amazing too

I've always loved the engineering gone into McLarens, but this has tipped the scales and gone straight to the top of the "want" pile

Or maybe a true classic!
