So with the bit of nice weather we got yesterday I managed to take the z for a drive over the moors from clitheroe towards Yorkshire. These roads would have been fantastic apart from the pot holes of which I hit several! One was so deep I had to pull over and check everything was Ok. I think third and fourth gears were the most used which gives you an idea of the speeds i was doing. Getting used to the car a bit better now...Anyway, had a bit of fun andy friend took a couple of pics...

Thanks for the compliments... I would enter the picture to the competition but its not a very clear picture. My friend is only an amature and it was low light, cold and we had no tripod so... there was a bit of shake ( ) captured on the picture. Its a good excuse to go again though! haha

This is the route we took

Great stuff! Have you driven the road that brings you out at the Black Dog from the stocks up Rivington? It used to be a weekly event in my old car but don't do it so much now for fear of dying :driving: .

If you keep your foot in you take off twice on the return leg!

I went to get some photo's this morning but the fog was so bad I ended up coming home after 1 shot. (Now my signature pic)

I did it on Tuesday night, black dog to rivington (on the way home from burley, in the dark, and wet, and still some snow). I didn't go fast but can see why the road is liked...probably more suited to bikes than cars as its quite narrow in places, just have to be careful. I'll try it again next time it's dry!

Where abouts in west yorks are you? I used to live in Oakworth. Some nice roads that way!

Yeah some very nice roads. I grew up in Hebden so know the roads to Howarth and Oxenhope well.

DPG, I like your sig pic, very moody. Like you are looking towards the unknown..but I suppose with all that fog you are
