It would be my daily, not sure how that would work out, although I know bing uses his ///M as a daily and I don't do more than 11 miles a day city driving. Then there is the insurance costs as you have already pointed out, plus increased road tax and increased service costs.

Heart says yeah I want it and just say yes and go for it, whilst my head is saying slow down whilst it is weighing the various things up. Decisions, decisions :headbang:

+1 though for Steph and I would be the running costs with high mileage hooning 12000 miles a year  :D

:driving:

Some interesting vids on that Instagram demonstrating how the car's been driven too... Wonder if it was played with from cold every time

I did notice that the owner liked to burn a bit of rubber. Not what you want to see if one is considering buying the car as it does leave a few niggling questions unanswered :(

ye makes you think :?

Of course they are. I don't think the public roads with other traffic bit is clever at all, but it is a sports car. However, if it's ragged from cold every time it's driven then that will not have been very kind to the engine. I'd want a full service history and probably to have it looked at by a BMW specialist. Not saying it's been abused of course, and Nick won't care anyway as he drives all his cars like that

Very interesting post - its a lovely colour combo - would love to see this in Scotland ! Does look like it's been hooned a little mind.
