Personally I'd lose the surround because it's not ///M powered and it looks really bulky.
And get a plate without the logo at the side, the plate could then be shorter making the rear look meaty!
 
My cars not M Powered
But it left the factory with M logo on the wheels and steering wheel, should I remove these???

WTF as that makes a difference. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: but you can not get a E85 named 'M Sport' trim level?

Each to there own, if you by a Quad exhaust but only have a 2lt thats ok, but a tiny corporate Merchandising logo on a number plate surround and thats a big deal? lol


Do you hang around in BMW showrooms telling people "U cant buy that key-ring, that T-shirt says M Power on, where as actually you need the Sport T-Shirt"

What about the Children's pedal kart with M logos, if that not right? :poke:
 
Looks great, Jonny. Still has an OEM feel to it too. :)

Is that rear right light cluster fitted properly though? The gap on the outer panel a little big and it looks like one of the bodywork fixtures is exposed.

Does look great with the facelift rear lights fitted!

Now time to debadge and fit a blue and white rondell back!

I did not know such a thing existed. I must buy one, it sounds pretty cool.
 
I admire your modding and envy your budget. Do you thing you will ever be happy, stand back from the car and say "done"?

With the the mods do you consider the 2.0 engine the only week link? Not having a go at the engine size, serious question.

I'm really thinking about all my options before I start modding as my budget will be tight and like yourself I won't cut corners.

Many moons ago I purchased a fiat coupe 20v turbo. It cost £6000, I spent £6000 modifying it only to be sold within 12 months for £6000. I also spent thousands modding a MINI JCW too.
 
I think Johnny is on to something here.

With car running costs going sky high, more people are downgrading engine size. Johnny's z4 combines the lovely styling with decent economy.
 
I totally understand, creating something one off is very satisfying.

I found that once I had fished my project I wanted to move on.

Keep on modding I say!!!

I like to think im the only one with a silver E85, 313s, red roof, Aero front, M rear and quad, red leather, angel eyes etc etc :thumbsup:

Directly or indirectly, I think your pushing your Z down a few too many necks

Have a look around the forum and try and find two Z's alike :) and don't forget... 'All' your mods have been carried out my quite a few members already and without the need to create endless threads harking on about their car
