Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Titanium Liquid Metal Watch

Hi Guys

Its time to down size the watch collection and as such this one has to go.

The watch is an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Titanium Liquid Metal with the Blue Bezel and titanium bracelet and the model number is 232.90.46.21.03.001. The titanium is grade 5 for both the case and the bracelet. This watch features a blue dial with luminous hands and hour markers with a date function at 3 o'clock. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass and sapphire crystal glass back. This watch also has a blue Liquidmetal unidirectional rotating bezel. Omega co-axial automatic chronograph movement with the in-house calibre 8500 movement and has a maximum power reserve of 60 hours. It is also water resistant to 600M not that I have ever had any intention of testing it to that depth.

The watch was bought new from Northern Goldsmiths on the 22 May 2013 and has seen very little use since then having spent most of its time on an automatic watch winder. The case and strap are as new but the large clasp has some slight marks on it and I have tried to show these in the pics. The crystal is as new with no scratches at all and out of all of the Omega watches this one is the best time keeper due to the Co-Axial movement.

The watch has not had a service and will not need one for a further 41/2 years as the service intervals are every 8 years.

The watch new is £5,640 but I would sell this one for £3,950 ovno.

Included are all papers, inner and outer box, the operating instructions booklet, a spare link and the warranty cards along with the tag from Goldsmiths. The watch is still under the 4 year Omega warranty and here are some pics below:

Exactly what I'm hankering after having just bought the wife the TAG she wanted.
Unfortunately, those sort of funds are required elsewhere at the moment :(

Beautiful watch though

I would be tempted, if I hadn't just received my Omega Dark Side of the Moon - Actually, I am still tempted, but Mrs DLV still hasn't calmed down after finding the receipt for this one... :D

I need a wife who pays less attention to the bank statements - I've been wearing it for a week, and she hadn't noticed.. Daughter had though..

I don't think my saying "it's cheaper in the long run than a mistress" went down too well either.. :)

Thanks for the kind comments chaps.

The watch is still for sale

Hmm... My VAT is due the end of the month, and I'm expecting a refund, as have gone a bit mad with "necessary" purchases this qtr ;)

So if it's still about I could well be interested. If so, whereabouts are you located, as this obviously needs to be a face to face transaction..

Just wondering what it would look like on a different strap, as I'm not a fan of metal ones, being a left hander, I find them a bit uncomfortable when writing etc.

Hi Mike, I will drop you a PM

Hi All

Well just a quick update on this.

I have a watch trader interesting in the PO and he is willing to offer me money as an outright buy or a sale & return option where he takes 5% of the sale price.

He has said my asking price is reasonable but he thinks with his contacts/advertising and selling power he will sell the watch for me within a 4 - 6 week turnaround time on the sale & return basis for slightly more than I am asking - potentially returning me just under my asking price on here.

Whilst this is an interesting proposition I would really like to cut out the middle man and offer the watch to someone direct so open to realistic offers

Well this eventually sold to a wan**r on ebay that after much debate pulled out of the deal - he agreed a price and then 2 days before our arranged meeting to do the handover/payment he offered me less money, effing waster :x

Anyway, the long and short of it is the watch is still for sale with a price reduction down to the offer I had £3,470
