What is the oldest thread on here? Is the very first original post still avaliable to read? Who is the oldest member? (oldest as in original serving member)
I think it would be interesting to read a few of the oldest threads to see if the tone/content of this forum has changed over the years.
What is the average age of members?
what percentages of the forum do the age groups / genders make up of the forum?
Not sure who can answer this stuff..but interesting i think............
 
As for the tone/content, I thinks it's been pretty stable, not like the old forum with it's "Chain of Pain" threads, screaming and abusive members. (As in locked threads and temporary banishments)
 
See that would be an interesting topic, how did the forum come to be, Citation 650 has just mentioned a few gossipy things about the precursor and now I want to know more :D
 
I remember back in 2009 -2010 kinda time there was alot of fall outs on here, people left, formed other forums and then it all settled down again.

Go to members and click on date. It cycles from oldest to newest.
Founded 14 June 07 and I found it by chance and joined 22 June.

I don't think much has changed over the years. Always maintained a well balanced spirit of community aside one short period when it was taken over by a group posting huge swathes of unrelated stuff for rankings.

Probably the one long term difference I see is that there were many E85 Zeds in company hands and lots being purchased new, wheras now it's much more of a collector/enthusiast car and of course a second model added, so those posts have changed in content
 
not sure how you would catagorise "old" ...... hahahahaha
I, for example am close to pushing daises but have a mental age of about 4 ........ can I add them together and divide by 2 ?????

That was very interesting..its funny how many folk join and then dont post atall, or just one or two posts..whats that all about?
 
Guess if you can't contribute to the technical stuff and you don't go on the forum runs then you haven't much of value to post really. Would be interesting to know who has been around the longest and who has owned the same zed the longest.
 
Seems to me that most of the people that post are from the other side of the pond, so us over here don't have all that much to add except the occasional :D, Ok, for me only. I found this after the original Z4um went bust. So, I have been here for a while or at least within the first few months of startup. As far as the longest Zed, well, mine is a 2007, but I bought my 1st Z4 in Feb 2003. Too bad it got totalled, so basically, I have had a Z4 for 10 years, almost. :)
