So I replaced the fluid last evening, just so I don't end up with some horrible "washer fluid induced" illness! :lol:
In reality, we (you) are making a big fuss out of nothing IMO. The fluid I removed still had some perfume smell, plenty of suds (when pumped out) and the colour wasn't foggy or anything. I removed the last part by disconnecting the tubes under the bonnet and clearing the fluid through the car's pump into my bottle.
Peace of mind
The old fluid is now sitting on a shelf in my garage with a notice on the plastic container: Warning, drinking this stuff could kill you, but you will die with a very clear stomach.
