Oldest E85 on the board

In light of the mileage poll I thought it’d be interesting to see who’s got the oldest around here. I bought my 03 in 2011 with 64k on the clock now at 105k with November 2002 production on the door jam sticker. Anyone have older?

No. That's the paint code. Is your car left hand drive ? Try the other side of the engine bay.

No. That's the paint code. Is your car left hand drive ? Try the other side of the engine bay.

It is LH drive. I’m wondering if it’s the one in the door jam I was thinking. No other stickers other than on inside top of bonnet showing emissions compliance and engine diagram. Might be different location requirements for US vs UK? At any rate here’s the one in the door jam I was talking about with 11/02

Sorry I didn't realise you were in the States. Yes I would say 11/02 looks fairly likely. That is an early one as that's when US sales began and March 2003 in Europe.

no worries. If I remember right I thought I saw that production started around September 02 so I’m curious who’s got one from right off the line from the beginning.

Mine is a UK March 2003 build and was a BMW launch car. The launch car designation is on the spec sheet and pre-dates what would be known usually as press cars.
