Mind you, the wife tends to disagree. Several times I've heard her use the 'git' bit anyway

Of course you can add 7 years to these figures. But then many younger members have joined too.

i think its a car chosen by folk who have disposable cash to buy something that brings a smile, and also younger who see a classic car getting achievable albeit with focused income, the middle age groups are busy raising families and so cant go there so easily.

She said " it must make you feel younger driving it" …… this made me cringe a wee bit, I certainly don't drive it to make myself feel younger, I drive it cos it puts a bloody great big smile on my face.... I’m with you on this, Had fast / modified cars since I was 17 with my mid life crisis, no one thought I would reach retirement. Now that I have, don’t see any point in stopping.

Yep, moved to New Zealand from UK 30 years ago. It is a lovely country though decent cars are hard to find and expensive when you do. Hard to adapt to the 100 KPH (62 MPH ) speed limit which is why I had to go racing for many years. The roadster helps to make road driving interesting.
