Tim if you sell up, can I buy your side indicators please? 8)

Trading in I'm unsure the dealer would like a Zed with no indicators :?

Tim.

Do BMWs come with indicators? :poke:

Not sure how many miles you do.....not many by the looks, so what about the i3 possibly? Supposed depends on how much you are looking to pay a month but have seen some nice deals.

I quite fancy being back in a 1er to be honest, I guess its just everyday practicality at the end of the day :)

Tim.

Are you missing some back seat loving with the ladies Tim??

Work colleague just traded in his 2010 520d SE for a brand new 318d Gran Tourismo M Sport. Same PCP..

Thanks for that I imagine at 4 years he would have no negative equity whereas at 2 the cars loss hasn't levelled out quite yet.

Tim did you not keep the original white indicators?

Unfortunately I binned them as I bust one of the plastic clips :headbang:

I wouldn't really want to remove the latter type as they're stuck on with double sided tape as well as clipped on. A faff if the bulb ever blows.

Get it down to the stealer and get a price on it...its the only way to be sure.

I had about £2k equity in mine, and I think Carol had equity in hers when she got the Porsche.

If you had no equity (or very small positive/negative) would you still do it?

Debs car had £2k from my Z4, just over £1000 from her 1'er and also another £1k cash deposit, so about £4k deposit and is £265 a month (48 months). Its a loaded 116d M-Sport....lots of extra "packs" and also pro nav etc. I think the car cost, after dealer discount (i.e. not as listed on the website) was about £25k.

Thanks Kevin, just a bit surprised had equity from the Zed to be honest as I think you took out your PCP around the same time as myself. I've basically took the balloon, added remaining payments of which 2 years approx remaining and it seems to be more than what I reckon the Zed is worth as a trade in which I reckon is around 17k. Like you say will have to drop into the dealer. I've specced a 116i M Sport at £26700 but unsure if to go with this or a poverty spec 125i :?

Thanks again,

Tim.

Also remember that when they work out how much is left to pay say today then they would be taking off the interest for the next two years payments. You technically gain that back so you may be surprised. Looking at some of the guides in excellent condition with 2k on the clock 22k trade and 23k part ex. I'd expect you'd get about 21/22k trade from BMW so think you'll be surprised.

You can even call BMW financial services who will give you the figures to settle in the next month which will also help :)

Thanks for the info  Been looking on BMWs AUC site and theres not that many 2.0 Zeds nationally around 29 cars. Prices seem to be around 21/22K for similar month/year to mine but all obviously have more mileage. Going by past BMWs I've traded in if they put mine on the forecourt for say £23500 they would be looking to make 3K over part ex price so they might offer me around the 20k mark which would clear the outstanding finance.

I've just spotted my dealers offer on the M135i which looks pretty good

http://www.knightssouthstaffsbmw.co.uk/current-offers/new-bmw/

Dealer contribution of £2931, BMW contribution of £1850 and customer deposit of £2999 so cost to change wouldn't be a biggie with same monthly I'm currently shelling out of the Zed. Just have to weigh up additional running costs :)

Tim.
