Old diff oil

If it's the usual H.P. oil with sulfur in it then yes, seriously. A few drops on the garage floor and it stinks for days. No way would I be painting that stuff anywhere, it reeks.

Agreed. Plus you can always flush it again in a years time (with brand new stuff) so you know it's squeaky clean.
