guys ive got a few old air pistols that i purchased many years ago... one of particular i believe may be worth alittle is my webley nemesis .22, item is in perfect condition and was purchased new for many a long time ago..... this item has seen literally no use and is in perfect working order, very very powerful too, not a toy pistol by any stretch so not an ideal gift for example.. anyone got any idea how much something like this is worth, i believe the webley of this age is quite collectible from the research ive done, anyone help??

yes thats the one!! 120 quid huh.... not bad at all!!! thanks eleflo.....

Blimey they cost a bit more than when I was a kid. Had a lovely Webley Hurricane, think I pain £6 for it, in the local second hand shop in 1977. Even made a custom sholder stock for it. Great for taking down Wood Pigieons I seem to recall. Clearley they were made to last.

yes i think i paid around 10 quid for it from a gun shop in birmingham town centre called "powers gun shop"..... very powerful and it seems in .22 bore rather rare!

it seems they have become rather collectable.... was going to sell but decided to keep it in my safe, these will be worth some decent money one day...

I've got a Webley Tempest air pistol and a BSA Airsporter rifle - Trouble is there is nowhere to use them legally!

if Im not mistaken, they are illegal up here in Scotland :D

Air pistols - no but BB guns which are not two tone are and Real guns clearly.

To own and use a BB gun which is not two tone you must be a registered skirmisher. But as long as you have I.D. You buy, own and use a Air Pistol or Air rifle as long as they fall below 6ft/lbs for a Air Gun or 12 ft/lbs for an Air rifle, otherwise they are considered especially dangerous and must be licensed.

They are however trying to also amend the air rifle and pistol laws in Scotland. I'm fine though, although a skirmisher but as my airsoft gun doesn't really look like a real gun I fall into the not requiring to be one to own it........but it's very powerful.

I found my old Webley Tempest whilst tidying up when I got back from Oz a couple of weeks ago. I decided it was better kept under lock and key at my parents' house than under my bed! Something tells me that owning any kind of gun in London is asking for trouble! I hadn't realised it was worth quite so much though:

join a local range and you will be able to use them with like minded people.

I don't think that's for me. I look on these things as dangerous toys but admit that I did enjoy a day on the range with a 9mm semi auto tho!
