The market has decided already

It's Been for sale for ages and nobody wants it...

It needs another couple of grand off for it to even look tempting... And that's if you can put up with the automatic..
You're wrong.
The market can't decide if it's been described incorrectly as an se when it is actually a sport?

If you're going to have a manual, it's got to be an Z4MC.
A coupe 3.0si is brilliantly suited to an auto.

Just not that many people hold the same opinion as yourself unfortunately or the car would have sold..

People who are looking at a Z4C are specialist buyers, they know what they are looking at... It's not a fiesta, corsa, Clio for you local car supermarket..

It is what it is, and it's not sold ..

Si Coupe works great as a manual too, just depends whether you're a lazy bum or not. :P
If I want to change gears (using my own valuable effort), I get on my bicycle. Keeps me fit. :D

Thanks for all the replies, lots of conflicting ones, I dont mind the beige interior but something needs to be done with the wood trim, any ideas on cost to say remove it and get it redone in piano black or the cost of getting piano black replacements.??

Easy to remove- piano black is quite rare and therefore is more expensive than other trims. With yours being wood it would probably be quite easy to rub and paint.

If you are handy with spanners you can remove yourself in a few hours. Dash pieces are fairly easy. The transmission tunnel part isnt difficult but does require a fair amount of trim to come out as there are 30 screws that actually hold the trim to the transmission tunnel and you can only get to them with the tunnel removed.

Body shop should be able to spray at a sensible cost.

Leave it.
Think of it as a 70's 3.0 csi

If you can live with the look, don't spray, store them safely for originality if you want to revert.

Well if you can't drive a car properly you may as well cycle everywhere anyway

Just no, if you are going to have a Z4C you need to have a manual regardless of whether it is a 3.0 Si or an M IMHO (although I may be biased)!

Update car now sold, price was dropped to £10995, I wonder if the new owner will pop up on here, and what will he/she do about that dash??

Further update, put the number plate in to bmw warranty and got the vin, on checking it was a Sport after all and in Carbon black too, someone got a good deal
