I was feeling gently round the back of the rear-view mirror and a thin, black, plastic-coated cable detached itself from somewhere in that region. (I don't think I pulled it out of anything. It just wasn't plugged into anything.)
Feeling carefully again, I found that it runs along the top of the passenger-side of the windscreen.
It's terminated at the mirror end in a single, hollow-prong plug.
What is it and where should I stick the plug, please?
