Oil-top up?

Heading home next week for Christmas...will be 1000 miles over the trip (London-Glasgow) plus some driving up there. I'm thinking about oil, and having only done 1000 miles since buying the zed wonder if I will need to top up? Should I carry a spare litre? If so what would the dealer have filled it with?

Many thanks in advance

Always worth carrying a 1 litre top up, delaers is best bet, comes in a nice pouch and same price as halfauds if not cheaper and will be the right stuff.

Thanks all

It was just in case it tells me on Christmas day or something! Will get a litre this week and keep it in the boot...just in case!

Have you checked the level though, as this will give you an idea if your likely to need some, Its so easy to do as your driving along.
