Oil Temp/Variable Rev Query

Recently joined the M Club and loving every minute so far, however I have a quick (and probably stupid) question about oil temps on the S54. It seems to take some time for the oil to come up to temp and never really seems to reach 100. Is this something I should be worried about? On a similar note, the variable rev limit lights extinguish relatively quickly however the final amber light remains constantly on. Should this ever completely extinguish to leave only the two red lights illuminated?

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Yes, quite normal. Oil temp will rarely get to 100 C as normal seems to be a few degrees less than 100 C. Yes the variable rev limit lights extinguish relatively quickly and usually about the time the oil temp reaches 50 C. Water temp come up pretty quick reaching about 80 C in just a few miles.

I've been doing exactly that to date, and ignoring the extinguished variable limit lights until the oil temp is up. It's just a shame it's only been doing a mile or two a day for the last few weeks.
