Came across this on weekend, so felt I'd like to share, as is often a pain or if you simply want to do an interim oil change without jacking up the car or going to a garage

Made in Germany (apparently) Good hunting

Looks like a great price if it will do the Job, has anyone used one of these before?

Thanks

Ash

Good to hear from you Jem, and thanks for the heads up. Mrs has been tasked to get one has her car is due a change.

Don't they go down the dipstick hole? My Z4 doesn't have a dipstick... does yours?

You may be there a while ….

Flow rates approx. (L/min):
- Motor oil: 0.2
- Diesel/Heating oil: 1.5

To empty 8 litres, that will be 40 minutes

Yes, that flow rate is a bit low... I've got one of these it's brilliant and I really don't miss that initial jet of hot oil shooting up my sleeve  - got it for quite a bit less than the current price though

Taking the piss with the brand name then "Ultimate Speed"

Plug it in, and grab a coffee then.

We have this offer now active in Finland too. It is about same price.
Thing that i dont understand, how you use this? Where you can feed that intake pipe to sump? I dont believe that can be put through dip stick pipe..

Yep, stick it down the dipstick. That's if you have one.

Could never work out why some Zed's did & some didn't have them

Used for 1st time today as an extra oil change outside of main schedule... very simple & took about 8 min to get 4 litres out.

My modding habit has to have some outlet, there's nothing that needs doing otherwise on the new toy

Only 4litres? What did you do with the other 2.5litres left in the engine? :poke:
Regards

Thanks Jembo
I have a vacuum pump type for carrying out the oil change on my inboard boat engine and its a bit of a 'faf' TBH. I will give this a try if they have any left

I use this on my e60, not this exact one..but one like this...makes oil change so easy...just need to keep an eye on how much comes out

I used something similar recently for an oil and filter change on my S2000. Whole job took around 20 minutes and didn't involve lying on my back wondering how I managed to get warm oil in my mouth :D
