oil on garage floor . middle of car

bah just got the thing (07 coupe 3.0s) from Sandia BMW and there is already a oil stain on the floor right underneath the middle of the car, any thoughts?
I'll lift it (get it checked ) soon but wondering if anyone's had this "spot" before

Just a thought - was it serviced as part of the sale? Might be residue of old oil on the undertray running off? Other than that most oil leaks on these tend to be top end, so you might be able to spot if it's the rocker cover etc with the bonnet up.
 
Second thought - are you sure it's oil? The air con drains right under the middle of the car and if your garage floor is unsealed concrete, you'll just get a dark stain - but it's water.
 
If you've just got the car, then just take it straight back to the dealership for them to sort it
 
man well see they said 15 days or 500 miles, well see how they react as its been 20 days but only 200 miles.
 
Not sure how it works in the US, but here in the UK we're covered by all sorts of protection for this kind of thing. Fingers crossed they'll sort you out. If not them I'm sure it won't be a catastrophic issue to fix.

1k fix , tranny pan, but got an after market metal one, cause bmw oem is plastic thats 3 inches from the ground.!
