oil leak

my 26 year old vw campervan has developed a small oil leak in the crankshaft oil seal - is only a few drops when the engine is running but is annoying . To change the seal is a right PITA - was thinking of trying Wynns oil leak repair - as it's only 6 quid it's worth a try but I don't want to make it worse - anyone ever used this ? can it cause harm ?

How much to get the seal changed? To be honest, if it is a keeper, you are only postponing the inevitable anyway.

Reckon around £200 - all labour - yes it is a keeper - was going to wait until the clutch needed changing but at less than a thousand miles a year thought I would give this stuff a try .
