oil leak some place other then valve cover gasket.

I replaced the valve cover gasket about two month ago, and fixed the oil leak there, but I'm still smell oil burning through the AC when slowing down. I thought it could have been old oil burning off, But its still persisting. There is no oil on the ground. Where else could it be leaking?

Timing chain cover gasket was a common on on e34 M5s, so I'd look there.

Although if you haven't removed all the oil from the engine by steam, not pressure, washing then you may find it'll stay around for a LONG time :thumbsdown:
