Oil in coolant

Yes I'm still going on about this...

Today I noticed a very light covering of white/yellow liquid on the oil cap. There is no yellow liquid on the dipstick at all but the oil looks very dark and smells burnt??

If the oil cooler is leaking into the radiator would that cause the milky liquid on the oil cap??

Can anyone help? Im still struggling to understand how this all happens! :oops:

You seem to have oil in your coolant, and evidence of water contamination in your engine oil (muck in the filler cap). The most likely explanation is head gasket or crack in the head/block. This should be diagnosed with a cylinder compression test or leak-down test to see if one or more bores are leaking compression, and/or an analysis of your oil to see if coolant is present or of gases in your coolant header tank. A good garage can do this.
If it's a gasket, head or block it's a big-bucks job I'm afraid but you need to eliminate these and don't use it, things will only be made worse :(
