Oil for my car ?

Ok read the hand book and nothing , I was going to fully synth 5-30 or 5-40 , do it need ll01 or ll04 and what’s the difference, 6.5 litres
 
If you change your oil annually or every 5-7k miles..then any oil that’s 5W-30 meeting at least API spec SN is ok..

At higher mileages a 5W-40 would be maybe better for a N52..

The LL04 etc is for people who never change their oil..

01 and 04 predominantly refer to long life oil management…these are now well outdated both technically and practically …a typical forum member will be looking at a more intensive maintenance regime than that the average LL04 owner was envisaged for..which by all standards was woefully inadequate..

If you want to get fussy than use a synthetic oil, preferably an ester based version..

Of course use a premium oil filter from Mahle / Fram etc..
