Oil Filter Tool

Bought an Oil Filter Tool (large socket) a few weeks ago and just changed the oil on my E85 3.0si. The tool fits perfect (same as Volvo) from ebay only £7.00 item number 390887210318 (mark, copy & paste into search on ebay)

Oil & filter changes are the single most important thing you can do to prolong the life of your engine, worth doing more frequently than bmw recomend imho.

Garage have always done oil changes on the z4, but when I used to do them, never got on with these tools and always resorted to poking a screwdriver through the filter and undoing it with that

You would struggle to do this as the filter is only a paper element on the zed.

I've bought one of these too although not used it yet. As far as possible I would rather have the correct tool to make the job as straight forward as possible. The car deserves respect.
