Hi all!
I've found that my oil filter housing gasket
Is leaking so plan to get it changed this week. Can anybody help me with the part number for the gasket.
My zed is a 2003 3L
Thanks in advance

For such a simple part just dive into your local BMW dealer or a Europarts type supplier and get one over the counter

Failing that put your chassis number into realoem.com, browse parts and it'll give you the exact part number for your model and year
I reckon it's 11421719855 using my chassis number

you get one with a new filter, go for an interim oil change if you've done more than 5k on the oil :)

I think you're referring to the 'O' ring on the canister top. OP specifically states 'housing gasket', which I've never heard of in a filter kit.

Cheers for the advice, it's not the oil filter gasket I'm after it's the oil filter housing gasket which is inbetween the housing and the block, local dealer wants £25+ vat surely I can get one cheaper than that for a single gasket, that's why I was after the part no. I've checked BMW mini parts and cannot find it. Thanks again

Did you read my post?

I posted the part number and gave you the link to double check against your chassis. However as mines an 03 3.0 it'll be the same.

Paste that number in eBay and a dozen suppliers pop up at around £5 -£7

Not sure what more Ican do other than order it and drive it around :)

Ha sorry I didn't see your reply, I'm reading it on my phone and it didn't show me your response straight away, that's great thank you! Appreciate the help will get one ordered!
