Oil consumption

Hi guys

Just been using my 2.2i for a few weeks and it seems to be consuming oil.

The orange warning light has come on been topped up with 0.5 l then about 1k later the same. Is this normal ?

Then can use oil...


CCV torn can cause the car to use a lot of oil,so needs checking or replacing..

Alpinas use 1l per 1000 on average. Some are a lot better, one I heard of was 1l/650!

Worth checking over but don't panic
