Oil change after leaking injector replacement?

I changed the oil at the beginning of this spring. Maybe had 50 (max) starts with the leaking injector. Oil level on the dip stick did not get higher in that amount of time so I figured not a whole lot of gasoline went into the oil pan from the leaking injector...But, do you think it is necessary to change the oil due to the fuel leak?

The new injectors seemed to have solved the starting problem but I don't want to cause major damage to the bearings etc. for want of a $90 USD oil change.

What would you do?

Diesel cars with a DPF are renowned for oil dilution. Land Rover cars with Ingenium engines will ask for an oil change at 6.1% dilution. I believe they may have upped that to 10% in the latest software update.

I guess it's therefore not catastrophic for you to have a little fuel in your oil, but on the other hand it's not ideal.

I think I would change the oil if it was my daily car, maybe not if I only drove it occasionally.

Am midwestern US Z owner as well. If you asked the question about possible contaminated oil in any situation???? then change it.

90$ is nothing for fine night sleep and being able to drive at will. Bearings love good oil. You'll spend the 90 in a restaurant somewhere and think nothing of the charge on your card. For me, oil is life of my car...but then your mileage may differ.
