Oh what should I do with my fogs!

Osram DRL's arrived very next morning. Beautifully made and really Oem quality with heavy lens and aluminium body.

keep us posted with your conversion. ARe you going to wire DRL into the fog light wiring and switch?

And does changing the dogs to DRL's effect the car for MOT?

ANd last question. how easy is it to remove the fog lights? is there a guide for this anywhere on the site?

Those blanking plates do look pretty good colour coded...ummmm may have to go down that route as mine have corroded on the inside. Would replace but it'll only bloody happen again!

Will do...Corsaire77 wrote up the conversion in an earlier post...where I got the inspiration from http://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=36082&start=45 The DRL kit comes with wiring to switch on when the car starts up and go off when sidelights/headlights are turned on. Dont know about MOT. I would have thought if I did away with the front fogs and there is no legal requirement to have them then if you havent got them they cant test them IMO. On your last question, my bumper is off the car so easy to remove the fogs...not sure what sort of a job it is with the bumper on.
 
Just been reading the instructions and there is an option to have the DRL's reduced to 50% light when main headlamps are on rather than going off....decisions decisions :?
 
Ohh I like that wrapped option

My fogs have gone to shi* and I fancy doing something like that with them. I wonder if I can get Monaco Blue vinyl!?

Is there enough room behind the fogs on a facelift car to run an air ducts to the brakes?
